Geebin
A novel system for home composting at source
Game player in end-to-end domestic solid waste management solutions. The innovative waste management solution can promote a better environment, improve recycling processes, and lessen the impact on our landfills. It is the first-ever multi-layer aerobic bin composter in India for composting household waste.
Major technical advantages of the Geebin
Pest-Resistant Multi-Layered Design
One of the primary challenges in traditional composting is the nuisance of house flies. Our Geebin features a sophisticated multi-layered wall system specifically engineered to prevent house flies from laying eggs in the waste. Even if flies are attracted to the outer layer, the secondary barrier ensures they cannot reach the composting materials, effectively eliminating the common menace of larvae and worm infestations.
Advanced Leachate Collection System
Since kitchen organic waste typically contains up to 70% water, excess moisture often leads to foul odors and stalled decomposition. The Geebin addresses this with an innovative Leachate Storage Area. This specialized cartridge absorbs considerable amounts of excess liquid, maintaining the ideal moisture balance required for efficient aerobic composting while preventing messy leakage and drainage issues.
Optimal Capacity & Space Efficiency
Designed for modern households, a single Geebin unit consists of three stacked bins, each with a 29-liter capacity, providing a total management volume of 87 liters. Despite this high capacity, the system remains compact, standing just 120 centimeters tall and requiring a small footprint of approximately 2 square feet. This modular design allows a family of five to manage their organic waste continuously for roughly a month per bin.
Enhanced Aeration & Humidity Control
Proper airflow is critical for odorless composting. The Geebin includes a dedicated provision for escaping warm air, preventing it from becoming trapped and creating excessive humidity. By regulating internal temperatures and expelling steam, the system ensures that moisture does not accumulate into stagnant water, allowing aerobic microbes to break down waste effectively and naturally.
Versatile Indoor & Outdoor Installation
While most conventional kitchen composters are limited to indoor use, the Geebin is engineered for total flexibility. Its robust, weather-resistant construction allows it to be installed in outdoor conditions like verandas or backyards without compromising performance. This makes it more convenient for users to keep the composting process outside the main living area, ensuring a clean and hassle-free household environment.

Assembling of Geebin Unit
Setting up your Geebin is a quick and satisfying process, designed to be as simple as building with blocks. Follow this guide to assemble your three-tier composting system in minutes:
Building the Foundation
Every Geebin journey begins with the Base Ring. Place it on a level surface where you intend to keep your unit. To ensure your system is ready to work from day one, add a small amount of our specialized Dcom & Flourish inoculum directly into the bowl.
Constructing the Core
Now, let’s build the inner chamber. Take the Inner Rings and snap them together using the user-friendly push buttons. Once the cylinder is formed, slide the Bottom Plate into the inner bin to create a sturdy floor for your waste. Carefully place this completed Inner Bin assembly onto the Base Ring.
Adding the Protective Shield
To create the signature multi-layered protection, join the Outer Rings using the push buttons and place this Outer Bin over the inner structure, securing it to the Base Ring. Finally, place another Base Ring on the very top of this assembly to lock everything in place.
Completing the Triple-Tier System
The Geebin is designed for high capacity, so simply repeat the steps above two more times. By stacking these three identical units, you create a vertical composting powerhouse. Once the third bin is ready, finish the assembly by placing the Top Cover over the unit.
Note: Geebin TWO BIN SYSTEM is also available. By stacking two identical units you can complete a Geebin – Two Bin System. This is useful for families those who are generating less than 1.5 kg bio wastes per day.
How to Use Geebin
The Geebin Journey: Turning Kitchen Scraps into Garden Gold
Using Geebin is a simple, clean, and rewarding daily ritual. Our system is designed to fit seamlessly into your lifestyle while performing the complex science of aerobic composting right in your home. Here is how you can master the “Waste-to-Wealth” process in four easy steps:
The Foundation
Before you add your first scrap of waste, you must prepare the “biological bed.” When starting a new bin, sprinkle our proprietary Dcom & Flourish powder into the bottom until you have a layer roughly one inch thick. This foundational layer provides the essential microbes and moisture-control agents needed to kickstart the decomposition process immediately.
Daily Waste Management
Once the base is ready, you can begin adding your household bio-waste into the inner bin regularly. Whether it is vegetable peels, fruit scraps, or leftover food, simply deposit it into the Geebin. To ensure an odorless and pest-free experience, dispense a light layer of Dcom & Flourish over the waste after every disposal. This keeps the process aerobic and prevents any foul smells from developing. Don’t forget to stir the whole bucket once a day.
The Rotation System
Continue this daily process until the bin is approximately 80% full. At this point, it is time to rotate. Move the filled bin to the bottom of the stack and place a fresh, empty bin on top of it. By the time you are filling your third bin, the magic of science is already at work in the first one.
Harvesting the "Black Gold"
The beauty of the Geebin three-bin system is its continuous cycle. By the time you begin using the third bin, the waste in the first bin has had 28 to 30 days to mature. What was once kitchen waste is now transformed into rich, nutrient-dense bio-manure.
The Geebin composting process is designed for maximum sustainability through its self-sustaining microbial cycle. The finished compost can be effectively reused as a high-quality inoculum (once or twice) for future batches, largely due to the superior quality of the cocopeat used as a bulking agent in our Dcom & Flourish powders.
This high-quality organic compost has the remarkable ability to restore the richness of your soil, enhancing its structure and fertility. Simply empty the finished compost into your garden, and the bin is ready to start its next cycle!
With Geebin, you aren’t just disposing of waste; you are nourishing the earth, one meal at a time.
