Under his leadership, Geebin has emerged as a pioneering brand, introducing India’s first multi-layered aerobic bin to help households manage food waste effectively and responsibly.

Sreekumar Melettu

Director & CEO

Mr. Sreekumar is the Director and CEO of Foab Solutions. A sharp and versatile businessman, he brings 30 years of extensive professional experience gained from working both in India and abroad. For the past 12 years, he has successfully managed businesses in the finance and waste management sectors. With his deep industry knowledge and global perspective, he plays a key role in driving innovation and sustainable growth for the company.

Dr. Sunnichan V George

Director & Research Head

Dr. Sunnichan V George serves as the Director and Research Head of Foab Solutions, is a distinguished scientist and the Head of the Department of Food Technology at Amal Jyothi College of Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from the University of Delhi and has conducted advanced post-doctoral research at the University of Colorado, USA, and ICGEB, New Delhi.

A leading expert in food processing and sustainable waste management, Dr. George developed the specialized microbial consortia (Dcom & Flourish) that powers the Geebin composting system. His work focuses on creating practical, community-focused solutions for source-level waste management and the circular economy. Beyond his research, he is a dedicated academic leader and mentor, bridging the gap between scientific innovation and real-world environmental impact.

Saji Thomas

Mr. Saji Thomas is a Director at Foab Solutions and a dedicated social activist. He oversees the company’s Public Relations (PR), with a specialized focus on legal and regulatory matters. Combining his passion for social welfare with his legal expertise, Saji plays a vital role in ensuring that the company’s operations remain transparent, compliant, and community-oriented.

Dr. Mini Mathew is a dedicated professor with a strong research background in civil engineering. With a PhD from IISc Bangalore and postdoctoral experience in top US labs, she brings expertise in CFD, water resources, and waste management to her teaching and research at Amal Jyothi College.

Prof. Dr. Sherin Sam Jose

Prof. Dr. Sherin Sam Jose is a senior academic leader, innovation strategist, and entrepreneurship ecosystem builder with nearly three decades of experience in incubation management, startup mentoring, and industry–academia collaboration. He is a Professor at Amal Jyothi College of Engineering and serves as the CEO of Startups Valley Amal Jyothi Technology Business Incubator (TBI).

He played a pioneering role in establishing Kerala’s first DST-approved TBI in a self-financing engineering college, along with nationally funded initiatives such as BioNest (BIRAC) and IEDC (DST). A consultant to K-DISC, Government of Kerala, he actively contributes to statewide innovation programs including OLOI and YIP.

Prof. Dr. Sherin Sam Jose is a recipient of multiple national and state-level awards, including the NIRF Innovation Award, and continues to drive impactful startup and innovation ecosystems.

Dr. Swaroop S Kumar is an accomplished academician and researcher with over 11 years of experience in teaching, research, and industry-oriented development in biotechnology and food technology. He holds a PhD in Biotechnology from Kannur University and has a strong interdisciplinary background spanning enzyme biotechnology, microalgal bioprocessing, bioactive molecules, nano-formulations, and protein Engineering. He has successfully led funded research projects as Principal Investigator, holds a granted patent, and has published extensively in reputed international journals. His doctoral research outcomes have received national media attention.
